Cross Country:

The first cross-country meet has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 15 at 3:45 at Winnekenni Castle. The bus will transport the students to the meet but the students either need a ride home from the meet or let Ms. Fouhey know on Tuesday if they need a bus back to the school.

Message from the Principal

Hello Consentino Families,

Hope you enjoy the long weekend since there is no school on Monday!

Progress reports were posted on Wednesday. If you haven’t checked your student’s grades and progress, please do so. We have Parent-Teacher conferences on Thursday, October 22, from 4:30 - 6:00. Unfortunately, there is not much time for parents to meet with teachers (conferences are scheduled at 5-minute intervals), so review your child’s progress report before you come in and have your questions prepared. If your student needs extra support, the teachers are available after school to work with students. Either email the teacher to ask or call the school office.

We are really enjoying our new school, and the students LOVE the outdoor play space. We are going to continue to take advantage of the outside space as long as the weather allows. Please make sure that when it gets colder, you send your child to school with a coat. We will be outside unless it is below freezing and driving snow. If the students need indoor recess, they will sit in the bleachers and talk with their friends. The gym is not big enough to have the entire grade running around inside playing games. If your student needs a coat, please email Jenn Cabrerea at jenniffer.cabrereavincente@haverhill-ps.org.

Nurses

Nursing: Please send in updated physicals. Please be sure that immunizations are up to date. By 7th grade, students are required to have both Tdap and meningococcal.

Crochet Club

Crochet club started on Wednesday, 10/7, after school! Permission slips are in the cafe or Mrs. George’s office (A104). Students need a ride home and a permission slip to attend.

Field Hockey:

The Haverhill Varsity Field Hockey team will be hosting a youth clinic on November 14th from 9- 11 a.m. at the High School Turf. All grades are welcome, and no prior experience is needed. Please fill out the Google form below to sign up if interested!

Student Council

The student council will hold a Bake Sale during all four lunches on October 22nd! If students are interested in joining the student council, we are accepting new members. Stop by the library on Mondays after school until 3:30 to learn more about it
