Early Release (11:05)
Message from the Principal
Hello Consentino Families1
We are thrilled to share that we have successfully completed our first week at our new school, and it has been an incredibly positive experience for everyone involved. Witnessing your children explore and enjoy the new facilities has truly warmed our hearts. Their enthusiastic reactions—filled with exclamations of "wow!" and "this is amazing!"—have made all the planning and preparations worthwhile.
Throughout the week, students have delighted in the expansive playground, where they have engaged in a variety of fun activities and made new friends. The extended learning areas have also been a huge hit, allowing for hands-on exploration and creativity. Additionally, our incredible libraries have captured students' imaginations, offering a treasure trove of books they're eager to dive into.
As we settle into the new school year, a few quick reminders will help keep everything running smoothly. Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times are improving each day, but parking remains tight. If you are dropping off a student, please pull as far down the drop-off lane as possible and avoid dropping children off in the middle of the parking lot for their safety.
For ongoing communication, please check ParentSquare next week for important updates, and keep in mind that dismissal on early release days is at 11:05 AM. If your child needs any school supplies, don't hesitate to reach out to Jenniffer Cabrera-Vicente, our Community Schools Coordinator.
Finally, our health office asks that all families return the Annual Health Update and Permission Form as soon as possible, along with any updated immunization records.
We are excited about the wonderful memories we are creating together and can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year holds! Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this journey together.
Consentino Community School Update
💛 Welcome Back, Charger Community!
Welcome to a new school year at Consentino!
We are excited to welcome our students, families, staff, partners, and community members back for another year of learning, connection, and collaboration.
As a Community School, we believe that student success is a shared responsibility. Our school is more than a place where students come to learn—it is a place where students, families, educators, and community partners work together to create the conditions every student needs to thrive.
This year, we look forward to continuing to strengthen family and student voice, expand partnerships, connect families with resources and opportunities, and create meaningful ways for our entire community to be part of Consentino.
🎉 What an Amazing Start!
Back-to-School BBQ
Our Back-to-School BBQ was an incredible success!
We were thrilled to see such an amazing turnout from our Consentino families and students. Seeing so many members of our community come together to meet staff, reconnect with one another, explore the school, and celebrate the beginning of a new year was a wonderful reminder of what makes the Charger community special.
Thank you to every family, student, staff member, volunteer, and partner who helped make the event possible.
Strong schools are built through strong relationships—and we are excited to keep building those relationships throughout the year.
🤝 PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Thank You, AutoFair Subaru!
We would like to recognize and thank AutoFair Subaru for their continued generosity and partnership with Consentino.
On our staff's first day back, AutoFair Subaru generously provided Panera lunch for our entire staff.
This was about more than lunch.
It gave our staff an opportunity to sit down together, reconnect, enjoy a meal, and spend time with one of our amazing community partners before beginning another busy school year.
These moments of connection matter, and we are incredibly grateful to AutoFair Subaru for investing not only in our students and school, but also in the educators and staff who support our students every day.
Thank you, AutoFair Subaru, for being part of the Consentino community! 💛

Here's to an amazing school year!
Student Council
Student Council: Meetings will start on Tuesday, September 15th. If you were in the student council last year, you will be added to a new Google Classroom where you can find announcements and other important information. If you are interested in joining the student council, stay tuned for more information!
Chorus
Hello Consentino families. Chorus will be offered during the school day for all grades this year. Sign-up sheets with more details will be coming soon. Our Winter concert will be on December 8th. We look forward to seeing you there.
Bus Routes
Look online at the Haverhill Public School’s website (Transportation Department) for bus routes and times. Bus passes will be distributed to students in the second week of school. Students need to have their passes to scan on and off the bus so we can track them in case of an emergency. Please encourage your child to use their bus pass at all times. Rest assured, we have strict safety measures on the bus to ensure your child's safety. Students can board the bus without a bus pass while bus passes are being distributed.
Please note the walk zones by grade:
Grades K-3: If the student lives within 1 mile of the school, they are a walker.
Grades 4-6: If the student lives within 1.5 miles of the school, they are a walker.
Grades 7-12: If the student lives within 2 miles of the school, they are a walker.
Exceptions to this rule are determined by the Superintendent.
Technology
HPS offers the opportunity to protect school-issued devices for the school year by paying a Device Waiver Fee. As outlined in the HPS Student Device Policy, this $20 fee will help cover the costs of potential damage, repair, or loss of the assigned device during the school year. Please note: issues of theft should still be reported to the police. The $20 covers 1 student for 1 school year. So families with more than one student will have to sign each student up separately. Some of the replacement costs are as follows:
Charger - $39
LCD Screen - $80
Top/Bottom Cover - $30-$35
Keyboard $70
Trackpad $15
Device Replacement Costs (when Chromebook is unrepairable) $199
You can find more information on our website: HPS Technology
