Hello Families,
The Consentino School Promotion Ceremony and Dance will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:30 - 9:00 in the courtyard between the Silver Hill School and the New Consentino. The ceremony will be followed by a dinner and dance for the 8th-grade students only. The cost of the dinner and dance following the Promotion Ceremony is $10 per student. Cash or check, payable to Consentino Middle School, should be returned to homeroom teachers with the permission slip given to the students by June 6, 2025.
The Promotion ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 and include a short address by the Principal, two student speeches, and the presentation of certificates. I do my best to keep the speeches short since it will be hot in the sun.
The Ribbon-Cutting ceremony will be on Monday, June 15th, from 4:00 - 6:00. All families are invited to enjoy some snacks and take a guided tour of the first floor of the new building. For parents who pick up their children their may be some increased traffic.
The last week of May, the National Junior Honor Society recognized its current members for their incredible work ethic and commitment to civic action, and welcomed a new class of scholars. Shout-out to Mr. Sullivan for his continued commitment to academic excellence! This past week, our 8th-grade students returned from a trip to Washington DC where they toured museums, national parks, and enjoyed a Washington Nationals baseball game. Thank you to Ms. Fouhey and Mr. Motsis for organizing this enormously successful event and to the rest of the staff members who safeguarded our kids.
This is the last Consentino Newsletter for this school year! See you all back here on September 2nd for our first day in our new building!

After-school tutoring will run until the week of June 8-12. Grade 5 will finish on Tuesday, June 9, and grades 7 and 8 will finish on June 11. This is the day of the Canobie trip, but we will be here for any of the tutoring students who are not attending the field trip.
