Good afternoon Charger Nation!
Happy Friday and Happy Valentines Day!
As we head off to break I wanted to get this notice out early to get a few things on your radar.
First, Washington, DC registration for Grade 8 closes TONIGHT. No registrations will be accepted after today. You can register by visiting https://www.capitaltours.net/register. Once registered feel free to join our Remind group by visiting https://remind.com/jon/abcindc25.
Second, on February 26th we’ll be having a Family Game Night where we’ll also have a bunch of information on our various curriculum programs along with raffles, giveaways, and refreshments. The event kicks off at 5pm. Hope to see you there!
For our 7th and 8th graders, Haverhill Public Schools will administer the Attitudes and Behaviors Survey on March 26th at Consentino. This survey is offered to students in grades 7 & 8 in order to gain insight into the experiences and perspectives of our youth in school and in the community. We conduct surveys such as this to better understand and assess the needs of our student population in regard to programming and services within our city. The survey focuses on the strengths and supports that youth have and need in their lives as well as their own perceptions of their attitudes and behaviors. Findings from this survey will help our school district and other partners work with you to ensure that young people in our community have the opportunities they need to be successful in life. Finally, I’m happy to report that our students BEAT our staff, 55 to 54 in our annual staff v. student basketball game. Way to go Chargers!
Wishing you all a safe and happy break. We will see everyone back here on Monday, February 24th.
Have a great weekend!
