Consentino Weekly Update- 10/13/24

Good morning Charger Nation!

Happy Sunday!

I hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend!

It was a great but very busy week at Consentino, so it is definitely a welcomed long weekend for students and staff!

It’s incredible how fast our building is going up. As of today, we’ve taken in about 200 tons of steel, and the skeleton of approximately 1/4 of the 4-story academic wing is already up. The site changes daily and you can definitely see the kids’ excitement.

This Thursday is our family conference night from 5:30-7 pm. At this point, our teams have scheduled most of their available times. If you haven’t scheduled your time yet, please reach out to your child’s teacher.  Our teams will meet with you at an alternate time if Thursday doesn’t work out. The progress reports will be posted to the SchoolBrains Community Portal by Tuesday at 4 pm. Progress Reports will not be printed. If you need a printed copy, please feel free to reach out.

8th grade families are invited to join the Remind group for the Washington, DC trip. This is how we’ll communicate for meetings, fundraising, etc. Once we’re on the trip we’ll also share pictures and updates. To join visit https://www.remind.com/join/abcindc25. For those families that could not make the info night, we’ve added another opportunity for this Wednesday at 5:30 pm. We’ll be holding it at J.G. Whittier Middle School (256 Concord St.). Remember, the earlier kids sign up, the more opportunities for fundraising, which means a cheaper trip. This is an awesome opportunity for kids and they have a blast!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Fright Night on 10/30 @5pm.

Below you will find an announcement from our Nursing Team as well as some important upcoming dates. Please remember that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, October 14th.

See you Tuesday!
