UPDATE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT REGARDING WEATHER EXPECTED FOR THURSDAY 1/31/19

Good evening everyone,

We are expecting some very low temperatures tomorrow morning.

To be proactive, our bus companies will be in extra early to start all the buses to make sure they are ready for their morning routes. Our drivers always do their best to assure us that the buses run on time, but the weather may cause unexpected complications. If a situation arises in the morning, we will communicate that information as early as possible.

Students will not be marked tardy if there are late due to the cold, and bus drivers are asked to pick up any students they see walking to school. We expect to have higher than normal drop off traffic tomorrow due to the weather so please expect longer lines at each school.

All schools have heat running overnight and we will be checking on all facilities early in the morning.

We ask families to please plan accordingly and dress properly for this cold weather. As always, safety is our main concern but parents can use their own judgement as to whether or not you want to send your child to school.

Thank you and stay warm.
