5th/6th Grade Category
Winner: April Morales Lima for her poem “May Flowers.”
Honorable mention: Armando Casado for the story “A Snowy Friday”
7th/8th Grade Category
Winner: Seline Adjout for her poem “Individuality”
Honorable mention: Miley Vichy Mede for the story “Growing with the Spring”

Band
All City Middle School Band Concert
On Tuesday, May 5th, all of our middle school band ensembles will come together for an All-City Band Concert outdoors at the JGW Basketball Court. Performances will be from 5:30-6:30. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own outdoor chairs, blankets, and dinner. Concessions will also be sold. We hope you can join us for this exciting event!

YearBook
Cover Art: Cover Art submissions are being accepted from now until April 30th. They can be designed on a blank white piece of 8.5 x 11 paper. If a student would like, they may either hand-draw/color a cover submission, or they can design it online and email it to Ms. Shea as a PDF. All cover submissions for the front or back cover are due by April 30th.
Orders: Yearbook order forms will be located outside room 23 for any 8th-grade student interested in ordering a yearbook. The cost of each yearbook is $13, including shipping. If the cost is an issue, please speak to Ms. Shea directly during homeroom or Ms. Gray in the office. Yearbook order forms must be completed and returned with payment by April 30th. All checks can be made out to Consentino Middle School.
Baby Photos: We are doing a “Guess Who” for the last few pages of the yearbook. Please email a Baby photo of your student to Ms. Shea at samantha.shea@haverhill-ps.org. Baby Photos are due by April 30th.

Washington DC Trip
