A Promise of Commitment

We, the Consentino Middle School staff, parents, and community, guide each child in achieving his or her greatest potential by providing a diversity of experiences that integrate excellence in education with the child’s individual abilities and unique talents.  We share the responsibility, in a safe and secure environment, for student acquisition of academic, creative, emotional, physical, and social skills necessary for entering society as contributing members.  If a parent has questions about the qualifications of any of their children’s teachers, they will reach out to an Administrator with questions. 

Parent/Guardian Agreement

It is important to have my child reach his full academic potential.  Therefore, I will encourage him/her by doing the following items:

• See that my child attends school regularly and is on time.
• To provide adequate rest, food & medical attention so that my child is ready to learn.
• Establish a time and place for homework and check it regularly.
• Support the school staff and respect the diverse cultures of the school.
• Have ongoing communication with my child’s school and teacher.
• Limit and monitor my child’s TV and movie viewing, Internet and video game use.
• Attend Parent/Teacher conferences.
• Encourage daily reading at home.

 Student Agreement

It is important that I do the best that I can.  Therefore, I will do the following:

• Come to school each day and be in class on time.
• Have my homework completed and turned in on time
• Keep my Chromebook charged
• Have the supplies that I need
• Always try to work to the best of my ability
• Show respect for myself, my school, its staff, and other students
• Follow the rules at my school and home
• Believe that I can learn and I will learn
• Accept responsibility for my own actions.
• Resolve conflicts peacefully.

Students must be given the opportunity to succeed.  Therefore, I will do the following:

• Maintain high expectations for myself, students & other staff.
• Use methods and techniques that work for my classroom
• Maintain open lines of effective communication with my students and their parents in order to support student learning
• Continue efforts to develop professionally.
• Seek ways to involve parents in classroom activities
• Respect the students, their parents, and the diverse culture of the school.

Nosotros, el personal, los padres y la comunidad de Consentino Middle School, guiamos a cada niño para que alcance su mayor potencial brindándole una diversidad de experiencias que integran la excelencia en la educación con las habilidades individuales y los talentos únicos del niño.  Compartimos la responsabilidad, en un entorno seguro, de que los estudiantes adquieran las habilidades académicas, creativas, emocionales, físicas y sociales necesarias para ingresar a la sociedad como miembros contribuyentes. Si un padre tiene preguntas sobre las calificaciones de cualquiera de los maestros de sus hijos, se comunicará con un administrador si tiene preguntas.

Padre/Tutor Acuerdo

Es importante que mi hijo alcance su máximo potencial académico. Por lo tanto, lo animare haciendo lo siguiente:

• Ver que mi hijo asista a la escuela regularmente y llegue a tiempo
• Proporcionar descanso, alimentación y atención médica adecuados para que mi hijo esté listo para aprender
• Establezca una hora y un lugar para hacer la tarea y revísarla periódicamente
• Apoyar al personal de la escuela y respetar las diversas culturas de la escuela
• Tener comunicación continua con la escuela y el maestro de mi hijo
• Limitar y controlar el tiempo que mi hijo ve televisión, películas, el uso de Internet y videojuegos
• Asistir a las conferencias de padres y maestros
• Fomentar la lectura diaria en casa

• Venir a la escuela todos los días y llegar a clase a tiempo

• Mantener mi chromebook cargado
• Tener los suministros que necesito
• Siempre tratar de trabajar lo mejor que puedo
• Mostrar respeto por mí mismo, mi escuela, su personal y otros estudiantes
• Seguir las reglas en mi escuela y en casa
• Creer en mí mismo que voy y qué puedo aprender
• Aceptar la responsabilidad de mis propias acciones
• Resolver conflictos pacíficamente.

Acuerdo maestro/administración

A los estudiantes se les debe dar la oportunidad de tener éxito. Por lo tanto, haré lo siguiente:

• Mantener altas expectativas para mí mismo, los estudiantes y el resto del personal
• Usar métodos y técnicas que funcionen para mi salón de clases
• Mantener líneas abiertas de comunicación efectiva con mis estudiantes y sus padres para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes
• Continuar en esforzarme para desarrollarme profesionalmente
• Buscar formas de involucrar a los padres en las actividades del aula
• Respetar a los estudiantes, a sus padres, y a la cultura diversa de la escuela
